The reconstruction of this market is part of a comprehensive public infrastructure project in Cuautla, Morelos, Mexico. Its objective is to guarantee the safety and efficiency of one of the most important public and commercial spaces in the city. The new building is attractive to the residents of Cuautla as well as to the tourists who visit it. Our meticulous analysis of the type of the sale premises allowed us to redesign a better interior and perimetral circulation that would satisfy the logistical needs of the tenants. The new market is more ample, illuminated and ventilated and sports a mezzanine for typical food restaurants. Its concrete base and red lattice walls endow the market with a local identity and connect it to the surrounding park areas.

The new building is attractive to the residents of Cuautla as well as to the tourists who visit it.
