We activated a public space in La Chacarita, one of the oldest and most marginalized neighborhoods in the heart of Asunción, Paraguay. We used the natural slope and the sinuosity of the neighborhood streets to create a small playground. The slopes allowed different living areas and a diverse public program in a very small space. We re-signified simple, low-maintenance materials to give the space a local identity.
