For a suburban townhouse complex near the port of Veracruz, we designed a sports court that houses an entire community center. The portico is more than a roof: it uses the inter-column capacity of the construction to generate a varied activity program (multifunctional rooms, balconies, audience steps, kids recreational areas, hammock area, adult fitness, activity rooms, library, bathrooms). In the agora, designed to complement the portico, we introduced local trees and vegetation to shade and cool the area (comprised by fórum and picnic area). The new habitat has become a hub for ecological awareness and biodiversity preservation.
