Constituyentes Park Gate
The project is the rehabilitation of Constituyentes Park, which is conceived as a door with all the characteristics of a threshold that communicates to Chapultepec Park with the city to create a single forest. To reactivate the public space, give clarity to access and spaces within the park. The comprehensive objective of this project is to articulate the layers and scales between the natural and the urban to redefine the woods as one Forest, which is for all, where the forest is the program.
To reactivate the public space, first, you have to open space. Our proposal is to redesign the Constituyentes Park as a door with all the characteristics of a threshold connecting the second section to the third section and communicates to Chapultepec Park with the city to create a single forest.
We have developed an urban study of Chapultepec Park, the largest green area in Mexico City with 680 hectares, which analyzes 6.2 hectares of Constituyentes Park with a social study that took into account the views of the different potential audiences, and the systematic study of the area of forests and water to rehydrate the landscape.
