Agua Fría House
Agua Fría House has a stone base that allows a pergola style portico between the wall and the windows. The second story is not obvious from the street for it is built on the descending slope on the terrain in front of a large extension of woods. The main level contains the public area and is reached through a patio. A series of gardens preserve the second story’s intimacy, which contains the private area and has a great terrace. The stucco walls, the wooden window frames, and stonewalls highlight the artisanal features of the construction.
